 Good Third Party Add-on VBXs

I'm looking to purchase a some additional controls for Visual Basic,
especially spreadsheet and graphing.  I was checking out the Borland
Visual Solution Pack, but somebody told me that was pretty old.  Can
anybody recommend a newer package, that's priced reasonably, under
$150.

Thanks

On my VB web page is the pointer to the VBxtras catalog.  They keep a
list of the Top 20 selling packages.  I'd bet my money where other's
have spent theirs.  Crescent and Microhelp are the usual folks to turn
to, although VB Assist by Sheridan is considered a must have also.
(I can't afford any of them, so I'm going by what I read).

Good luck,

Try TrueGrid Pro, its reported to be the best on the market right now for spreadsheets.

Technically, TrueGrid Pro is not a spreadsheet, it is a grid control that
allows editing and is data aware.  It does support radio buttons,
pictures, just about anything, but is not a spreadsheet.  In my opinion
(take it for what it's worth) it is a great tool when used as a data
aware control, but it is unnecessarily difficult when used in an
application fed way.

If you are looking for a grid to use as a data aware control, True Grid
Pro is great. It is well over 400K though.

If you need a grid that you are going to stuff with data manually, try
the grid made by Sheridan.  The Sheridan grid was ~ 130K.  Sheridan makes
some solid, good looking controls, but the are not as feature laden as
others.

Also, I have heard that the pack offered by Borland includes VBXs that
are functionally impaired (lacking some of the features of the
commercially available versions of these controls).

As far as Microhelp goes, I have VB Tools 4 and it has some cool
controls, but they GPF more often than I like (once is too much).  This
happened after I got the newest update of them as well.
