 ocx license problem

Hi everybody,

I have a strange problem with an ocx i developed.
here is the story:

I needed a directory monitor for several
applications, so i developed an ocx for just that
task. Next I implemented the ocx in several
applications and they all run just fine on my
development laptop. Next i builded a msi for each
application. installed several of these msi's on
some computer. The application crashes with the
following message 'You do not have the
appropriate license to use this functionality'.

The strange thing however is that if a friend of
mine compiles the same ocx and executables on his
laptop and builds the msi's, all work fine. no
license problems on the installed machine.

I am going slowly crazy (if i wasn't already ;))
so can anyone tell me what is happening here ???

thanks in advance,

Mischa

PS: the 'use license' property is unchecked.

Does your OCX use any other controls which need a licence?
