Graphic Coordinate system in VB4?

 Graphic Coordinate system in VB4?

I am trying to write a VB4 prog to display a chessboard and have
pieces able to be moved. Can anyone tell me a simple way to do this
using the VB coordinate system? I like the idea of using 64 image
boxes, but is there a better way?

Also, I want to use chess fonts (.bmp files) from an existing program.
The BMP file has all 4 different chess pieces displayed right next to
each other. Is there a way to "crop" them and get them on the board
correctly?

Sorry for the weird question - I'm stumped!

PLEASE E-MAIL me on this one.

Thanks lots!,

PAUL
