Jeff #1 / 5	MCI32.ocx mp3 help Hello, I'm using the mci32.ocx control to make my own mp3 player. the problem i am having is that the playing of mp3 songs there is funny sounding clicks and thuds. sounds like that certain sounds in a freq aren't being played properly. this happens in my program as well as other peoples VB mp3 players, but when i play the mp3 through winamp or such teh mp3 sounds perfect. any1 know how i can fix this problem that VB has ?

SarapuuSii #3 / 5	MCI32.ocx mp3 help It's well known problem in Windows Media Player. You must remove AC3 audio codec and all will be fine. Search .AX files thats contains characters 'ac3' in their names in folder windows\system32 or windows\system and delete them. Thats all. Quote: > What mci32.ocx?
