Help !!!

Does anyone have any example VB code to enable me to read and write from
the com ports using win32 api calls.  I am racking my brains here because I
cannot get the readfile & writefile commands to work.  I have managed to
configure a port using the createfile but thats as far as it goes.

Any help would be appreciated.
