ISAM error when VB6 SP4 exe tries to open access file
Microsoft has acknowledged that there is a bug in SP4 which causes the
wrong drivers to be installed. In the IDE window running the program,
it is fine. But if you run the exe once it's compiled, then you get a
runtime error 3170 couldn't find installable ISAM. I have had dealings
with this problem with Foxpro in my office, but not vb6. MS says you
can call them for a repair, but I haven't been able to get to them.
Anyone else have this problem and obtain the fix?
Is this a problem that will be encountered by anyone who tries to run
my program, or just me since I have VB installed?
