newbie: want to interface VB with old CC:MAIL

I'm stuck with using cc:mail in my office, and would like to figure out how
to interface with it from VB to send mail messages.

As I understand it, cc:mail is no longer supported by Lotus; they've folded
it in with their Lotus Notes stuff, which we don't have.

If anybody can point me in the right direction, I certainly would appreciate
some help.  Thanks ahead of time!

You could use VIM (Vendor Independant Messaging) though I'm not sure if
there is a VB interface to it or alternatively you could use the DOS
import/export programmes that come with the Administrator (import32.exe and
export32.exe). These cannot handle long file names though so you need to
rename any long filenames to the standard 8.3 format before importing them.

Nigel.
