 VB5 vs VB6 compiles

I've noticed that a program I built and complied in VB5 that was almost 3MB
is size shrunk to a little over 1.5MB in size when re-compiled in VB6(no
code change, just a strait recompile). Has anyone else noticed this? The
program doesn't seem to run differently or faster. It is simply smaller.

Does anyone know if MS optimized the compiler for VB6?
