Visual Basic, Compress.Exe

Compress.Exe - Where, how?

I find myself in dire needs of the COMPRESS.EXE program that apparently
is included in the VB Setup Kit. Now, it does not seem very fair to
force me to buy the entire kit, as I only need one small part of it.
Can some kind soul tell me where I can buy/find the COMPRESS.EXE pro-
gram without having to get the Setup Kit?

The setup kit is not a separate product. It's part of the normal VB product.
Check C:\VB\SETUPKIT (or wherever you installed VB).

I think it ships with VB. have a look in \VB\KITFILES\

The Setup Kit is part of VB Pro. It can also be found at ftp.microsoft.com

COMPRESS.EXE should be in your DOS or WINDOWS directory ...
