 How to detect Computer Name and Workgroup ?

I am working on a client server program that requires interaction.
To read files from Server from Client vice versa.

I am fairly new to this. So how do i findout the Server / Client Computer
Identity... such as name and workgroup ?

You can use the GetComputerName API call to get the name. I've no idea about
the workgroup...
