I'm a newbie to vbdos

am needing a multi user database engine for the prof. version.
I have the ISAM engine that comes with it but this has no multi user / network
support.

You may find it simpler to change to FoxPro 2.6 for Dos or
dBase 5.0 for Dos.  Both can handle multi-user situations.
The support for VBDos database engines is weak to say the
least.
