I can't remember right off what's the actual call, but there's a way to
toggle the points on and off. The only problem is that it seems to be
processor intensive especially if you're plotting real-time data.

I don't know if GigaSoft's ProEssential is the best one out there and it
has a slight learning curve, but I currently use it to plot real-time data
and there's no problems with zeroes since the graph uses zeroes to clear
the graph so all the remaining points don't show up til you assign them a
value.
