 OCX/OCA Problem

Why, when using Custom Controls that I have created in VB5 , do I
occasionally get vb12320.oca etc. created rather than the 'controlname'.oca

 OCX/OCA Problem

Hi there

As much as I figured out, oca files are sort of "cashed" files, needed only
for development environment. You can safely delete them, and when you load
the project, they will be automatically generated for you (providing that
you have appropriate license to use them in development environment).
Sometimes, if your VB IDE crashes, or some strange things happen, or you do
an upgrade of a control, it is a good thing to delete oca-s, to reflect the
changes in new ocx files. I have done it several times, and as much as I
remember, the source of this information was Sheridan upgrade of Tab control
for VB 4.0 , but that was ages ago...
