VB cd key

I have recently picked up a "copy" of VB 5 in Hong Kong bur I need the CD
key no. for it anybody help me?

Think about it.... "I just picked up an illegal copy of a piece of
software you spent a ton of time creating and you expect payment for it
in compensation for your work" Doesn't set to well now does it?

And you're asking in a programmers news group for someone to "give" you
the key to further your illegal act. Not very smart.

Here is how you figure out your CD Key:

Goto to any Computer Software Superstore and buy Visual Basic. And there you
go!

In reality, you know he's going to find what he's looking for, we've all
seen this request before, and I even remember someone posting a code
generator at some point in the past. The encryption is unbelievably simple
after all. Just curious, I don't have VB6 yet (hopeing to get it some time
this year) but I was wondering the CD key for it, is it the 11 digit one, or
is it the big ugly style that comes with Win98. So far that's the only
package I've seen the big ugly with, and frankly it really surprises me. You
would think the moment people cracked the old code, they would start puting
a new code on all new releases of everything.
