If anyone knows of an NT group, please let me know.

Here's what I *THINK* is happening.  Happens when the data
files are put on an NT server, works fine on a Novell server:

Application AAA periodically writes a status record to a small
file.  This file is opened (shared) written to, and closed.

Application BBB periodically inspects that file to see if
App AAA is still alive.  BBB runs on a different PC.  It
SEEMS on an NT server, when App AAA closes the file, the
current copy of the file is not made available to App BBB.
I know this sounds totally weird, but does anyone have any
ideas about this?  Thanks in advance.  Reply to both group
