Killing Processes by PID on Win9x/ME/NT/2000

Greetings,

Does anyone know of any code that can kill process by PID
similar to how the Window Task Manager does it on Win9x/ME/NT/2000?

I need to be able to send a kill signal or force kill (with
End Task) signal to another application if I detect it running.
