WinZip has an add in for creating self extracting files, don't know
about doing it from with in VB though.

 Creating Self-Extracting files from within VB
Hi,

Does anyone have any suggestions for creating self-extracting files from
within VB?  I currently use Inner Medias DynaZip for both zipping and
unzipping but now I have had a request from users to be able to create
self-extracting files.
