See the latest VBKB - article Q78001 - has a bunch of stuff about getting the
master task list (bigger than what CTRL-ESC gets you) as well as all sorts of
other info relating to determining what programs are running.
You might also get the full text search VBKB from the Microsoft ftp site -
big (4.3mb compressed), but very useful as you can search for any word in any
article.
