Can you help out a newbie?
I have written a program which runs fine on my own and other
computers. The problem is that when installed on the other computers,
the program, which runs from startup in Win95, shows a "Data link
properties" box. I read about this in the help files, and it seems to
be to do with databases and *.udl files.

My program does not use databases (although it saves simple text files
to disk).

Can anyone tell me what the "data link properties" box is?, and
how do I stop it from running each time the program runs?

using vb6, learning edition.
program installed by CAB files from Package and deployment  wizard.
