 Data Report Designer Avg Problems

Hey all...

I've been having some problems with using the average summary textbox
in the Data Report Designer (VB6 SP4) with an MS Access Data Tier.

In the same group footer, I will try to calculate three averages for
three separte lists of figures in the detail section. All figures in
the detail and group footer should be rounded to two digits (i.e. I
formatted the textbox to be a number displaying two decimal places).

It seems to work just peachy for the text boxes that get their values
from a field in Single number format, but when it tries to pull values
from a field in a Byte number format, the rounding precision drops down
to one place (ex. 4.66667 becomes 4.70 instead of 4.67). I even tried
to change the data format at the table-level to Single and Double and
still no effect.

I am using a middle-tier object to retrieve the data and shape it into
an ADO Hierarchical Recordset and pass that recordset back to the front
end, where it becomes the data source for the report (directly bound,
no Data Environment).

Any ideas on why this is happening?

Thanks.
