We need a faster ODBC driver for VB 4.0 (16- and 32-bit)
to connect from workstations running Win95 and Win 3.11
to SQL Server running on an NT server.  (Or perhaps we're
doing something wrong?)

VB's ODBC w SQL Server seems especially slow (1-2 secs/SQL
statement), yet, by comparison,  we don't experience the same
slow reponse with Crystal Rpts ODBC interface to SYBASE (which
uses Intersolv drivers).  Is there a faster solution such as
replacement ODBC drivers?  Will the Intersolv drivers work
for us?

Our client would prefer something with a one-time fee as opposed
to having to purchase additional seat licences when users are
added...
