 Lost some Active-X controls when upgrading my VB 6.0 to VB6.0 (SP3)

I have a Dell Inspiron 7000 and get errors with the following Active-X
control and some others after performing an (SP3) upgrade to my VB 6.0
Enterprise Edition:

DBGRID32.OCX

The errors is:

Class not registered. Looking for object with
CLSID:{00028C00-0000-0000-0000-000000000046}

I then am directed to a log file with the following contents:

Line 160: Property OleObjectBlob in DBGridMain could not be set.
Line 160: Cannot load control DBGridMain.

I performed the same upgrade to my desktop and haven't had any
problems. All my MicroSoft software upgrades on the Dell have given me
registry problems while the same upgrades to my desktop have not. The
Dell came with Office 2000 for Small Business and I uninstalled it to
put Office 97 Professinal on instead. Could this be the problem? My
desktop never had Office 2000 Small Business on it.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Ron
