I'm using tdbgrid version 6.0b in unbound mode 4 in vb 6.  Several
columns are using value/valueitems in a combobox.  When the columns with
the dropdown are changed, the value property contains the value as I
want and expect.  BUT, when a different column is changed the value
property contains the valueitem text.

I'm checking in the BeforeColUpdate event. Maybe that's my problem?
Will it be correct in another event or something along those lines?

Is this a bug or a misunderstanding on my part? I always want the value,
 not the valueitem.  Is there a way around this?

Any help will be appreciated.
