 Vbasic programming and HP53131A Universal Counter question

Try using a serial communications program (procomm or hyper-terminal) and read what
comes out
of the counter's serial port (you may have to experiment with baud, bits etc.) Once you
can "see" the
format you should be able to write the VB code to capture it.
