.Wav sound access under Windows 3.1 for VB 4.0

I'm programming an application that requires the use of .wav
files.  Under the 32-bit version, I am able to find the
routine that will call them and play them in the application,
however, I don't seem to be able to do the same under the
16-bit version.

I am using VB 4.0.  How can I use VB 4.0 to play .wav files
for an application designed for Win 3.1?

Any comments, ideas, suggestions, or what-not would be

Thanks to any and all who respond.

look in the directory samples/resource of VB.  There is a program that
uses sound files and is set up to run in  16 bit or 32 bit.
