 find out dial-up number!

Is there a way to find out the telephone number of the line which is being
used as a dial up connection?

I don't think there is but would be very interested in any information on
this matter!

thanks

Yes. It is located in the dialup account regeistry string for phone number.
Do a search of your registry for the number.

 find out dial-up number!
Thanks...

Thing is though that if for example I had a laptop and then moved to
different locations within the same area code then the dial up connection
would still function as normal, and I was looking for a way to detect if the
connection was being made from a different location to that stored in the
registry as you rightly noted!

Again the more info' / feedback on this matter the better!

regards

Harry
