Many people are using my telephone dialer program which is written in
VB5 (SP3) and have no problem.  The program uses the Comm control that
comes with VB5, just like the sample dialer that comes with VB5.  One
person cannot get mine or the VB sample program to dial.  I looked at
his modem settings and cannot see anything wrong.  There are no error
messages, the modem simply does not dial.

The Modem is at gateway 2000 data/fax modem Telepath II V.  The
Software is Faxworks version 3.00g.251.

Does anyone have a similar experience, or an idea what could be wrong?
