VB Voice Mail using MS Mail
: Is there a more efficient way of doing this as currently, when the
: mail arrives, you see a tape cassette and double clicking produces the
: soundrec or mplayer (whichever your association is) and then you have
: to press the play button.
: What I want to be able to achieve is the similar to an attached word
: document that when you double click, the document is displayed. In my
: case I want the voice file to play immediately without the necessity
: to press the play button because knowing my chairman, he will press
: the record button instead!
Sometimes it's not what you do, its where you look...
Have you thought about changing the association?
I use WPLANY which will play an associated file without user intervention
other than the initial double click. It seems to be a pretty standard
net.tool, as more than a few people use it to play .au files via their
web browsers.
I don't remember where I got it, but I would imagine the usual archives
(SimTel or cica) would have it.
Hope this helps...
