WANTED: One or two ALPHA testers for MAIL.VBX/OCX
Hi all,
I have a new mail control ready for early testing. It comes in VBX
and OCX versions and includes the following features, among others:
* MIME compatible with full support for all multipart types
* Integral support for encode/decode of following formats:
o Base64
o Quoted-Printable
o Binhex 4.0
o UU
* Both POP3 and SMTP in a single control
* Synchronous or asynchronous operation
The sample program is darned near a good e-mail program
all by itself.
Now for the bad news. At present there is NO help file,
although there is a .doc file which is reasonably accurate.
So, if you're willing to dig through the sample program (which
does show how to do everything the control is capable of), and
if you have a pressing need for MIME compatability you might want
to shout, now!
I'd like to take on one, or two at the most, alpha testers for a
shakedown cruise. If you're interested please respond with a glowing
self-evaluation of your ability to work with undocumented controls.
