 Changing the number of colors in an Image Control

I am using an image control to display a bitmap image which I am
capturing fron the screen and pasting into the control. As my PC is
set-up with over 32,000 colors, the image in the control has the same
resolution. Is it possible to reduce the colors, say to 16 (black and
white) in the control?
