Newbie Help: Component MCI32.ocx problem
I have created a little app which I must use on two different
machines. All three machines (including the one on which VB 6.0 is
installed) are running WinNT SP 6). Only one machine has VB 6.0
installed on it.
When I attempt to run the app, I get one of the two following errors
(which appear to be related):
'Component MCI32.ocx or one of its dependencies not correctly
registered: a file is missing or invalid'
'Failed to load control 'mmcontrol' from MCI32.ocx. Your version of
MCI32.ocx may be outdated. Make sure you are using the version of the
control that was provided with your application'
Of course, the app runs without any difficulty on the machine with VB
6.0 (i.e. where it was created). Please help me decipher this
problem! Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.
