Now this is a stupid question.

I just got VB6 and loaded a VB4 file
into it.

I need to change the name of the
compiled file from test1a.exe to
test.exe.

I've compiled it as test.exe but, if
I start VB6 again, it asks me to compile
test1a.exe.

How do I change the compile name?
I've checked just about everywhere!!

I think you have to save the project after compiling, because the exe
name is saved in the project file.

You're right. I just wasn't saving  the project. I thought
why save the project if I haven't change anything.

Rename the Project file name with test.prj. Simple enough....
