Please help me!

I'm almost done with a program to store info about my CD-ROM's, tapes
and floppies. I want to list the contents in a listview control (no
problem) etc. etc.

But now I want to add I final touch to my program: I want to list files
and dir's in the listview control with the currently assiociated icons
(like in a open/save dialog or Windows Explorer). Can anyone help me
with this? With this problem comes another one: How to read an icon from
an exe, a dll or an .ico file AND add it to an imagelist? Everytime I
tried it, VB5 crashed on me.

I hope someone out there can help me.
