 VB3 CMDIALOG in Windows 95

Any workaround out there for running an application in Windows 95, that
uses VB3 version of CMDIALOG? My app won't pick up the correct filename
I've selected from the dialog, saying that I need to furnish a file with
the correct file extension (when indeed I have).  My code snippet is as
follows:

        frmTool.CMDialog1.Filter = "DBase(*.dbf)|*.dbf"
        frmTool.CMDialog1.FilterIndex = 1
        frmTool.CMDialog1.DefaultExt = "DBF"
        frmTool.CMDialog1.CancelError = True
        frmTool.CMDialog1.Flags = OFN_HIDEREADONLY Or OFN_FILEMUSTEXIST Or
OFN_PATHMUSTEXIST
        frmTool.CMDialog1.DialogTitle = "Select a table to look up this
value: "
        On Error Resume Next
        frmTool.CMDialog1.Action = 1
        Flags = frmTool.CMDialog1.Flags
        Do
            If Flags <> frmTool.CMDialog1.Flags Then
                MsgBox ("Please Choose a file with " +
frmTool.CMDialog1.DefaultExt + " Extension")
            End If
            frmTool.CMDialog1.Action = 1
            If Err <> 0 Then
                ckbClientFields(Index).Value = False
                Err = 0
                Exit Sub
            End If
        Loop Until Flags = frmTool.CMDialog1.Flags
        User_Tab$(Index) = frmTool.CMDialog1.Filename

I know there is probably a Knowledgebase tech report about the CMDIALOG
vbx problem out there, but for some reason I keep getting knocked off
whenever I surf over to Microsoft's FTP area....

Any help would be appreciated.

Danny
