VB5 apps windows 95/98/NT compatible?
Hi Jules,
I have run into similar problems. Typically most of my apps work just fine
on any platform, but there have been a few problems. One specifically with
the Wang Imaging Controls. If have found the best way to handle this is to
just Install VB to each platform, and do separate compiles, when you run
into this. That will make sure that all of the system dependant DLLs and
OCXs are present, and the right version.
I believe that the Setup does write to the registry, but don't quote me on
that ^_^
