I am creating a "slide show" screensaver and need to be able to show
special effects.  For example, slide, blind, wipe, zoom, etc...

This is something that can be done easily with powerpoint animations
and so forth.  I'm sure I can figure out how to code some of the
simpler effects, but would appreciate any help.
