 Capturing screen contents of full screen DOS app under windows

Anyone know how to retrieve the screen contents of a full screen DOS
task running in Windows WITHOUT resorting to sendkeys (the application

running will intercept these keypresses).

I am desperate for a solution to this problem - any help or ideas
appreciated.
