Using FoxPro 3.0 files from VB4

Using FoxPro 3.0 files from VB4

When I try to open a Fox dbf file, the DAO gives me the 'File isn't in
expected format', and doesn't allow me to open files created with
VFP3. I've tryed with 2.6 files and VB works fine.
I'm using VB4 Prof. under WfWG 3.11.
How can I use the 3.0 files ?
Is needed any compatibility layer or something else ?
Any advice will be appreciated. TIA.

Please, if you post responses, make sure to e-mail them to me,
so my news server is not as reliable as I would. Thanks.

You're out of luck. What you would need to do is download the VFP ODBC
drivers from the Microsoft web sire and access the VFP data through
it...but, it is a 32 bit only driver and won't work on Windows for
Workgroups.
