 Read/Write Database with VB. HELP...

Hi,

I've got a problem to access an Access Database with Visual Basic.

My database is in a Directory which is Read/Only for "AllUsers" and Read/Write
for "SuperUser".
I would like, with a VB application, "Allusers" to be able to access as read
only the database and the "superuser" to be able to write into this database
even if some users are reading it.

If I open my DB with a Workspace object, with exclusive=true and Ronly=true,
"Allusers" can read the DB, but "Superuser" can not write into it anymore
(file already in use). If exclusive=false and Ronly=true, "allusers" can not
read the database because Access can not write its <...>.ldb file in the
R/Only Directory.

Is there a way to solve this problem ?

Thank you for your help.

Did you try flagging the File R/O and making the directory R/W so the =
users can write the .ldb file?
