VB4 Front end to Oracle7 w/SQL*NET2 -- Need ODBC driver to support RDO

I have developed a GUI front end using VB4 with RDO to work
with an Oracle7 back end.  I have SQL*NET 2 on Win95 and NT40
systems but can not run with the Visigenic driver, or Oracle 7
ODBC driver.  The Oracle ODBC errors on any RDO command and
the Visigenic driver does not support SQL*NET 2.  I need some
info on where I need to go from here; can I load SQL*NET on
a Win95 or NT40 system?  If so I have not found how or where
to get it.  Does anyone know of a driver that will support
RDO, SQL*NET2 and is 32 bit?

Thanks for any help you can offer; as I am totally stumped.

The UK based company OpenLink supplies "OpenLink ODBC Lite for Oracle".
I tried the trial version using RDO with SQL*Net2 for Oracle7 and got a
result well except some cursor option. The trial version is available by
the end of September from;
http://www.openlinksw.com/
Unfortunately, the commercial version costs $99.00 per copy.

I hope this will be useful for you.

Have you trid to download the ODBC drivers from the Oracle site?
www.oracle.com
There are drivers for both Windows 95 and NT.

You should take a look at Oracle Objects for OLE (OO4O).  This will give
you everything that you want.  It is expensive since it comes bundled in
Programmer 2000, but you pay for a developer license and distribute
free.  Call Oracle and speak with them.
