Not getting err 3197: Data has changed
In developing a multi-user application using VB 3.0/prof edition, Access 2.0
with the service pack installed, and the compatability layer, I have discovered
that error 3197, data has changed, is not being generated when attempting to
apply the edit method to a record in a dynaset whose underlying data has been
changed by another user. I'm seeing this behaviour in both network operations
(WFW 3.11) and in stand-alone operation (two instances of same app. running).
Has anyone experienced this problem? Or is there something I'm just not
understanding? BTW, I'm using pessamistic locking.
