Assigning Null Values to data bound fields using remote data control
I am using VB5 and RDO/RDC on SQL Server 6.5.
Thanks to VB5, I can now create data bound controls myself. Using the Value
property of a self-made control, bound to a data control, values can be
bound to fields that are part of a open cursor.
However, when I want to assign a null value to the field (the value
property returns a variant in my control), RDO/RDC refuses to convert the
value null to the destination variable. When assigning 'empty' to the
property, it converts to spaces instead of a null value.
Is there a way to assign null values to data bound controls?
Any help is very welcome. Thanks.
