 VB4 and Crystal Pro 3.0

I'm running VB4 in 16-bit mode on Windows NT. I created a report in
Crystal Professional v3.0.

I then added the Crystal Reports Custom Control (vbx) to my VB4
project and set it up to run my previously made report. When it comes
time to run the report in my VB app, I get a run time error that says
that the report is from version 3.0 and will not run.

What can I do?

Do you have VB3 on this machine also?  You say you used the Crystal VBX
for your project, sounds like you may be using the Crystal version 2.0
VBX which comes with VB3, in which case it will not run the Crystal Ver
3.0 reports.

Hope this helps!

Give me the exact text of the error and I can probably help you out.
Also, if you have more than one version of Crystal on your machine,
that could be part of your problem. I am finding that most people who
get VB4 also have VB3 which comes with Crystal V.2. During
installation, Crystal prompts them that another version of Crystal has
been found; do you want to overwrite. Most people say no. They should
say yes. You can't have more than one version of Crystal on your
machine at one time; you'll get a DLL fight and multiple errors.
