Visual Basic vs. Visual Interdev

I would like to start developing web sites and I don't know which of two
languages to use: interdev or vb. I want to create large sites with
database access, mapping (a call to a 3rd party product), audio, and
possibly video.
You're all invited to commented and say which product you believe is
superior to just web site development, albeit a site that is
content/media rich. I suppose the most important question is which
product has fewer bugs, and is easier to work with for just this
application.
