the problem is a small vb application, it takes text files ( written by
others on the net) , opens lpt port (a dot matrix printer conected) read
from text file write to lpt1.

everything looks fine (fast matrix printing under windows application)
but after some hard work ...PC got slower an message 'not enough memory'
appears so reboot is needed :(

probably windows cannot free memory engaged with this printing
operation????

can you give an advice
or is there other way to simulate MSDOS printing with VB
