 ADO SHAPE w/ multiple child relationships

I am new to SHAPE syntax and have successfully
created some fairly comlex commands to return a
compound relationship like this:

X.*
rsX
  |
  |
  +---Y.*
      rsY
        |
        |
        +---Z.*

I would now like to add 2 or more child
recordsets below Z.  Can you help me?

X.*
rsX
  |
  |
  +---Y.*
      rsY
        |
        |
        +---Z.*
              |
              |
              +---subRst1.* Where Val = 1
              |
              |
              +---subRst2.* Where Val = 2

My syntax looks like this:

SHAPE {SELECT * FROM EventTraps WHERE CfgID = 1}
APPEND ((SHAPE  {SELECT * FROM
EventEscalationSteps WHERE CfgID = 1}
APPEND ((SHAPE  {SELECT * FROM
EventEscalationStepOperations}
         APPEND ({SELECT * FROM
[EventEmailConfig]
                        WHERE NotifyTypeId = 1}
                        RELATE OpID TO ECfgID) AS
EmailCfg,
                ({SELECT * FROM [Event3PConfig]
                        WHERE NotifyTypeId = 3}
                        RELATE OpID TO [3PCfgID])
AS 3PCfg)
RELATE EscID TO EscID))
RELATE CfgID TO CfgID)

Thanks for any help!
