I have informixnet for the PC on order.  Your server must be running
either INET or ISTAR on your server.  I will use Q+E ODBC drivers.

I started using VB3 and Informix a couple of months ago. I run
on a standalone PC, therefore I need only Q+E Informix 4 driver.
I plan to move to a LAN in the near future and then I'll  use Inet
and TCP/IP on the client and IStar on the server. I guess you should
get good advice from your Informix local agent.
