set DataEnvironment Command

 set DataEnvironment Command

i have a DataEnvironment that has a SQL command in a DE
DE1 -> Connection1 -> SQL1

i would like to set an ADO object to execute a Command from DE
the SQL Command is being set from the Designer in DE called SQL1

what's wrong wif the following codes.

Dim myRec as New ADODB.Recordset

set myRec = DE1.SQL1

a Type Mismatch error is said to occured at "SQL1".

DE1.SQL1 is the command. You need the recordset, which is DE1.rsSQL1
