Has anyone else received this message (error 524)?? It seems to occur
when changing records in Jet 3.0, although it is hard to tell because
the error message keeps changing!!!!! Error number is always 524
however.

What is the general concensus out there on Page locking introduced in
Jet 3.0 as opposed to the record locking in previous versions? It
appears to make VB DB programming for a multiuser system more complex.

I don't think VB has record locking in the previous version. As far as I
know it is always page locking.
