 CC Mail and Visual Basic

I need to enable my Database application to use CCmail mobile on a
win95 machine. Is anyone out there currently doing this? I understands
that VIM is not available through MAPI, are there Mapi drivers
available or will I have to use an OCX or will this require buying the
CCmail developers kit?
Any help would be appreciated

We recently linked a web page to CCMail using Visual Basic. From
what I remember, all that was needed was the VIM dll which is put
in the system when CCMail is installed. We also had a file called
VIM.bas which we included in the project but we got that from
the people we did the work for and I don't know where that originally
came from.  Maybe that's in the developer's kit.

I am having pretty much the same problem you are.  I have a few
database applications that require e-mail interaction and we have two
e-mail products:  cc:Mail and Notes Mail.  They are both VIM (BTW:
Notes 4.0 is MAPI).  If you have Microsoft Office installed, I believe
it installs a file in Windows\System called MAPIVIM.DLL (or
MAPIVI32.DLL) which converts MAPI to VIM, but I cannot find any
documentation on this from Microsoft.

Please let me know if you find anything else out.
